Our Commitment: To provide our guest house guests with excellent service in comfortable, reasonably priced, hotel quality rooms. We are quite simply a "Great place to stay at EH7 5LA". We offer a 10% discount for direct website bookings. Free high speed wifi. We are taking bookings in line with Scottish Covid-19 regulations. We have amended our procedures in order to keep our guests safe when they arrive and throughout their stay. Enjoy staying in a hotel quality, mini apartment style room. Our double bedded en-suite Rooms with pin code access are an easy walk from Princes Street (Waverley Rail Station) and York Place (tram link to Airport). Windsor Street is a quiet street in the centre of Edinburgh close to busy Leith Walk (with cafes restaurants and shops). A fridge for each room, microwave oven and coffee machine is available in the Hallway. A hospitality tray is provided in each room (tea/coffee, sugar and UHT milk). W.H. Playfair's signature corner style residence with it's thick walls and castle like turrets enhances quietness within and around Lantern Guest House. We recognise the importance of sustaining the quality of cleanliness and comfort in our guest rooms. Guest rooms provide homely features: Hospitality tray, Smart TV, free high speed wifi, towels, hand soap, shower gel and shampoo, humidistat bathroom fan and thermostatic controlled radiator(s) in Room. Street parking at weekends is free 5.30pm Friday - 8.30am Monday, with free parking each evening - morning midweek. Otherwise £1.10p per hour on London Road or free parking 10 mins walk away. We offer a tailor-made service, providing our guest house guests with additional assistance as requested. We will be delighted to welcome you to Lantern Guest House to enjoy our wonderfully cultural city and the many excellent events that are planned during 2021.
